Lindbergh Retired Educators
Lindbergh Retired Educators (LRE) was organized in 1985 to provide a continuing connection for retired Lindbergh employees. Open to anyone who has worked in support of students within the Lindbergh School District, LRE brings together former educators, administrators, and staff who share a lifelong commitment to education and the Lindbergh community.
Through fellowship, service, advocacy, and philanthropy, LRE provides meaningful opportunities for members to stay connected with former colleagues, remain engaged with district happenings, and continue making a positive impact on students, schools, and families.
Our Mission
The mission of Lindbergh Retired Educators is to foster connections among retired Lindbergh employees while supporting students, staff, and the Lindbergh community through service, engagement, and scholarship.
What We Do
Lindbergh Retired Educators serves its members and the district in a variety of ways by:
- Providing opportunities to stay connected with former colleagues and remain informed about events and initiatives throughout the district.
- Sharing information regarding issues that may impact retirees, including health insurance, pensions, and education-related legislation.
- Organizing volunteer, scholarship, and service opportunities that support Lindbergh students and schools.
- Hosting social gatherings, special events, and outings that encourage friendship, engagement, and fun among members.
Supporting Students and Families
LRE remains committed to making a difference through charitable giving, volunteerism, and community support. Through member generosity and fundraising efforts, the organization supports initiatives that benefit students, families, and the broader community.
One of LRE's most meaningful contributions is the Lindbergh Retired Educators Scholarship, which helps graduating Lindbergh High School seniors pursue their educational goals. Members have also supported Angels' Arms, an organization founded in the Lindbergh community that provides homes, resources, and stability for foster children and foster families. Through these efforts, LRE continues its tradition of helping others and strengthening the community.
Support LRE
LRE members continue to make a difference through fellowship, service, scholarships, and community support.
