LRE Events
One of the greatest benefits of Lindbergh Retired Educators is the opportunity to reconnect with friends, former colleagues, and members of the Lindbergh community. Throughout the year, LRE hosts a variety of events that bring retirees together for fellowship, fun, and continued engagement with the district.
Whether you're attending a luncheon, participating in a fundraiser, or joining a social gathering, LRE events provide meaningful opportunities to stay connected and celebrate the friendships and memories built throughout a career in education.
Annual Events
Back to School Luncheon (August)
Each year, LRE members gather to celebrate the start of a new school year, reconnect with former colleagues, welcome new retirees, and hear updates from the district. This longstanding tradition provides an opportunity to celebrate the impact of Lindbergh educators while looking ahead to the year ahead.
Holiday Merriment (December)
The holiday season is a special time for LRE members to come together in fellowship and celebration. Holiday Merriment offers an opportunity to reconnect with friends, enjoy seasonal festivities, and celebrate the spirit of the season. Guests can also participate in a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting LRE scholarships.
Spring Fling (April)
Spring Fling brings members together for an afternoon of fun, friendship, and fundraising. Through the event's auction, LRE raises funds to support Angels' Arms. The event also supports LRE's scholarship efforts while providing another opportunity for retirees to connect and enjoy one another's company.
Signature Parties & Social Gatherings
In addition to our annual events, LRE members enjoy a variety of smaller social gatherings and signature parties throughout the year. These events provide opportunities to build friendships, celebrate special occasions, and remain connected to the Lindbergh community long after retirement.
