Above & Beyond
The Lindbergh Schools Foundation's Above & Beyond Programs help provide students with meaningful educational experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. These opportunities encourage leadership, connect students with history, and celebrate important milestones throughout their educational journey.
By supporting experiences that inspire curiosity, personal growth, and lifelong learning, the Foundation helps students develop skills and perspectives that will benefit them far beyond their years in Lindbergh Schools.
Student Leadership
The Foundation supports student participation in unique leadership and enrichment opportunities that help students develop confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and explore future possibilities.
These experiences may include local, regional, national, or international programs that provide students with opportunities they may not otherwise have access to through traditional classroom instruction.
Examples of supported experiences have included:
- Cubes in Space
- Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY)
- Missouri Scholars Academy
- Carnegie Hall performance opportunities
- HOSA leadership and competition experiences
By helping remove financial barriers, the Foundation ensures more students can participate in transformative experiences that encourage leadership, innovation, and personal growth.
Lindbergh staff interested in requesting support for a student leadership opportunity may submit a Student Leadership Funding Request.
Grad Walks
Grad Walks provide graduating seniors with the opportunity to return to their former schools and be celebrated by students, teachers, and staff who helped shape their educational journey.
This special tradition recognizes student achievement while inspiring younger students to envision their own future success.

History Alive
History Alive connects students with veterans and community members who have lived through significant historical events. By hearing firsthand stories and experiences, students gain a deeper understanding of history while learning valuable lessons about service, sacrifice, leadership, and citizenship. These meaningful conversations help bring classroom learning to life .
