Lindbergh Schools Foundation Awards Record Scholarships at Senior Scholarship Night

April 5, 2024

The Lindbergh Schools Foundation hosted its largest-ever Senior Scholarship Night on April 3, awarding a remarkable $176,575 in scholarships to 66 deserving seniors. This milestone event highlights the Foundation's dedication to supporting students' educational journeys and honoring the legacy of those who have significantly contributed to the Lindbergh community.

The Foundation currently manages and administers the selection process for more than 93 scholarships awarded annually to Lindbergh High School seniors. Many of these scholarships honor and memorialize special teachers, administrators, coaches, students, and alumni who have made a lasting impact on the school community.

The night also showcased a range of generous scholarships from Foundation partners, including:

  • LHS Alumni Association: 14 scholarships totaling $18,000
  • Lindbergh Retired Educators: 4 scholarships totaling $6,000
  • Lindbergh Lights the Way: 2 scholarships totaling $1,000

Since its inception, the Lindbergh Schools Foundation has provided over $1,030,000 in scholarship funding to LHS students. Funds are raised through private donations, staff contributions, and special funds, reflecting the community's commitment to supporting its youth.

Scholarship criteria are diverse, encompassing factors such as overcoming adversity, financial need, employment dedication, military plans, college or vocational aspirations, athletic participation, community service, school club involvement, and special interests or hobbies.

Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients! Your hard work and dedication have earned you these well-deserved awards.
