The Coach Don Bee Scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity, supporting students for generations to come.
Coach Bee’s Lindbergh story spans an incredible 65 years. He began as a student, then returned as a teacher and coach, where he mentored and inspired countless young people. Even in retirement, Don has never stopped giving back—serving as a Board of Education member, an active volunteer with the Lindbergh Schools Foundation, and a devoted member of both the Alumni Association and Retired Educators group.
“Coach Bee has been more than just a teacher or coach,” said a Class of 1972 representative. “He’s been a leader, a role model, and a steady presence in the lives of so many Lindbergh students and families.”
A proud Lindbergh High School graduate, Don returned to his roots with a passion for education and a commitment to student success that never wavered. His impact has been felt on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community.
Of Lindbergh’s 75-year history, Don Bee has been an active part of 65 of those years—embodying the very spirit of Lindbergh Schools.
