Celebrating Jessica Franklin's Initiative for 5th-Grade Girls

March 15, 2024

Today, we are proud to celebrate Jessica Franklin, the District Lead Nurse, for her outstanding initiative to support the young girls in our district. Jessica recognized a critical need and took action by requesting supplies to create backpack kits filled with feminine hygiene products. These kits will be distributed to all 5th-grade girls during their Growth and Development lesson.

Jessica's proactive approach ensures that every girl in the district has access to these essential resources, regardless of their personal circumstances. This initiative not only enhances the educational unit but also promotes equitable access to necessary hygiene products for all 5th-grade girls.

By providing these backpack kits, Jessica is helping to remove barriers and ensure that every girl feels prepared and supported during this important stage of their development. Her efforts exemplify the care and dedication of our district's staff toward student well-being.

Congratulations, Jessica Franklin, for making a significant difference in the lives of our students! Your commitment to their health and education is truly commendable.
