February 18, 2025

BSI Constructors, Inc. has partnered with Lindbergh Schools Foundation as a 2024-2025 Year-Long Captain Sponsor. With a steadfast commitment to quality and integrity, BSI’s mission is to be the most trusted, respected, and consistently performing General Contractor in St. Louis. Steve Schrage, Project Director at BSI, emphasizes their dedication to supporting local schools: “We play a small component of Lindbergh’s mission of excellence in learning, but it’s one we take seriously.”

BSI was hired by Lindbergh Schools in 2020 to be the general contractor for the state-of-the-art, three-story structure that now connects existing buildings on the high school campus. Their work also included renovations and remodeling projects across the district. With decades of experience in K-12 and higher education construction, BSI has played a vital role in shaping educational spaces that inspire students and educators alike. Seeing their own children use the very spaces they built adds a deeply personal touch to their work, reinforcing their mission of “building good buildings that last.”

For over 50 years, BSI has been deeply rooted in the St. Louis area, focusing exclusively on local projects rather than seeking work elsewhere. This commitment to the community reflects their pride in delivering high-quality structures that stand the test of time.

From the initial planning phases to the final construction stages, BSI took great pride in working alongside Lindbergh Schools’ facilities department, Lindbergh High School Principal Dr. Cochran, and Lindbergh Superintendent Tony Lake. The collaborative effort ensured seamless communication and a shared vision for creating exceptional learning spaces. “Working with the client and communicating with Lindbergh has been great because they want to get to work and create great spaces,” Schrage shared. “They do what it takes to make a great building.”

BSI extends heartfelt gratitude to Lindbergh Schools for their trust and partnership. “We are really grateful for the opportunity to be working with Lindbergh,” said Schrage. “Thanks for trusting us, and we have worked hard to earn that.”

When asked about advice for Lindbergh students, Schrage emphasized two key traits that drive success: integrity and perseverance. “The two biggest markers that make individuals successful are personal integrity and perseverance,” he said. “In life, things are going to get difficult, but being respectful and staying committed will take you far.”

The Lindbergh Schools Foundation is proud to partner with BSI Constructors, Inc. as a 2024-2025 Year-Long Captain Sponsor. Their shared vision remains dedicated to building lasting, high-quality spaces that contribute to the success of students, educators, and the entire community.
