Tower Tee Golf & Recreation is a 2024-2025 Year-Long Captain Sponsor for the Lindbergh Schools Foundation. Tower Tee plays a vital role in supporting local education and fostering a sense of community in the St. Louis area.
Tower Tee Golf & Recreation has been a cherished destination in the St. Louis area for over 60 years. In 2021, the beloved landmark made an anticipated return, unveiling an all-new complex that blends familiar and expanded recreational options, all significantly updated for the enjoyment of the entire community. The focus remains on creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with a wide variety of entertainment options for adults and kids alike. Including their award-winning par 3 course and driving range providing a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels.
Mike Shamia, one of Tower Tee’s owners, has a deep-rooted connection to the Lindbergh Schools community which is evident through his personal and familial ties. As a child, he attended Concord Elementary and Sperreng Middle School while graduating from Lindbergh High School. His commitment to the district continued as a Lindbergh parent and a former member of Lindbergh’s Board of Education.
Reflecting on his bond with the district, Shamia stated, "My roots are deep. The community has been there for my family during my years as a student. I could not imagine connecting to any other school community in this way. "Tower Tee's commitment to supporting education is evident through its employment practices and strong community engagement. The company makes a clear effort to hire students from local schools, including many from Lindbergh. Additionally, they facilitate local teams by providing easy access to practice facilities at a reasonable expense. Generations of Lindbergh students, parents, and families have enjoyed the amenities at Tower Tee, reinforcing its role as a community hub.
When asked what message he would like to convey to Lindbergh students, Shamia advised, "Don't be scared. If there is something you want to do or try, go for it. Don't worry about who accepts it or approves of it; own your future and make it your destiny." He emphasized that Tower Tee aims to be "a place that is accessible and approachable, providing something for everyone and fun for all."
