Sponsor Spotlight: Circadia, 2024-2025 Year-Long Aviator Sponsor
April 8, 2025
Color Art is a 2024-2025 Year-Long Aviator sponsor for the Lindbergh Schools Foundation. In 1946, Robert G. Reim Sr. founded Color Art in the garage of his Kirkwood home. From these humble beginnings, the company has grown into one of the largest privately held businesses in St. Louis and ranks among the Top 15 Steelcase dealers in the nation. With a history spanning almost 80 years, Color Art has built a reputation synonymous with excellence, service, and integrity in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
As one of the nation’s premier authorized Steelcase dealers, Color Art brings unparalleled knowledge to every client relationship. The company offers insight, advice, and strategic partnerships to help organizations grow and enable their people to succeed. Earlier this year, Color Art united with its sister company in Kansas City – Scott Rice Office Works – as a single brand. The newly unified company, known as Circadia, brings together the strengths of two legacy brands and combines decades of innovation in delivering interior solutions. The Circadia name reflects a shared vision for creating spaces that support the flow of work, life and well-being.
In 2020, Color Art was hired by Lindbergh Schools to help design and furnish newly built and renovated high school classrooms and spaces. Bethany Enlow, Account Manager at Color Art, had the unique opportunity to oversee the entire design process for Lindbergh High School from the beginning. She initially worked as the designer for the project and now serves as the account manager.
Bethany shares her perspective on designing effective educational spaces: "If you create spaces that people are comfortable in and that are functional, then they can do their best work."
The Lindbergh High School project was a collaborative effort that began with a student survey. Based on the feedback, pilot classrooms were created to test different furniture configurations, allowing students to provide input. Once the architects and design firms established the new spaces, Color Art complemented their vision with carefully selected furniture and finishes.
When selecting furniture pieces for learning environments, Bethany explains her approach: "I start by talking with the client to understand their goals and budget. It’s about finding the right balance among aesthetics, functionality, and cost. Flexibility and mobility have become key trends, enabling classrooms to be easily rearranged for different learning styles."
Color Art values its partnership with Lindbergh and appreciates the school district's forward-thinking approach and willingness to try new things. "It helps when a client is invested in the process and understands the power of space in supporting their goals. Lindbergh has been a wonderful partner in creating environments where students can learn and teachers can teach at their best."
Beyond its work in education, Color Art is actively involved in the St. Louis community. The company supports local food pantries, participates in design and architectural organizations, and collaborates with furniture manufacturers to develop innovative solutions for schools and workplaces.
Lindbergh Schools is proud to partner with Color Art, now officially known as Circadia, as a 2024-2025 Year-Long Aviator Sponsor. Their shared commitment to excellence and passion for creating inspiring spaces continue to shape environments that foster creativity, productivity, and well-being.
